Hi Karen: I live in Cookeville, TN (your neighbor 1.5 hours West!). I'm a new (57 years old!) Ellowyne fan. I have just recently ordered my first 2 dolls, but neither have arrived yet. I can't wait to see one in person. I found out about your work/website from the Ellowyne Chatboard. Amazing!...is all I can say about it! Also Amazing!....regarding your daughter's repaints! My husband and I were in the pastorate for 30 years, so I've also lived all across the South and Midwest. Seven years ago we took a much-needed "break" from the difficult life of a pastor/family and moved to Cookeville (my husband's hometown), and are living in the house he grew up in. I have 3 grown children & 8 grandchildren. Like you, my favorite flower is the Peony! I've loved those flowers since I was a little girl--they are nostalgic for me. I also am a follower of Jesus Christ, and continue to daily be amazed at nature and the world we live in. I express myself through pressing wildflowers and making bookmarks, framed flower art, etc. Anyway....didn't mean for this to be so long. I just wanted to tell you how beautiful I think your website is (in every way), and I've tagged it to watch for future outfits for my 2 Ellowyne's (which I kinda know are going to increase in number, once I've seen/enjoyed them in person! ha) Thanks for reading my l-o-n-g email!

I have been admiring your work on ebay for the past few months and just found your site. I am truely in awe of your work. I was never fond of playing with dolls but always loved creating clothes for my Barbie doll when I was a kid. I was laid off my job recently and my sister suggested sewing AG doll clothes and started this spring. Researching it on ebay lead me to your creations. I just can't express how fantastic your work is and how much I enjoy looking at them! You are truely gifted and your daughter is also!!!
